Overall, the classes are developmental recreational tumbling with a focus on balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Classes are designed to increase skills AND be fun for the students. A positive environment is created, where students are encouraged to build upon their skills, be proud of their accomplishments, and focus on their strengths.
Youth tumbling classes focus on increasing ability to balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination and FUN! Tumbling is taught based on the students skill level and includes somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, back and front walkovers, back and front handsprings, aerials, back and front tucks, and intermediate and advanced jumps. Skills are also combined into tumbling sequences. Basic balance beam skills are expanded upon to include advanced balances, sequential skills and tumbling on and off the beam. Students love the challenge of climbing the rope and several have attained the ultimate success of touching the ceiling ¦to the envy and motivation of their classmates!
